As we approach the third edition of the Projeto:Canção Festival, scheduled for April 2024, a new series of recitals titled “Novos Intérpretes ” will take the stage.

Leading up to the festival, two recitals are scheduled for February 10th and March 9th at Casa das Artes do Porto. These performances will feature two dynamic duos, alumni of the Projeto:Canção Lied Masterclasses from previous editions

These emerging artists will present programmes that showcase the richness and variety of Lieder, including the absolute premiere of a piece by a young composer commissioned by Projeto:Canção. This recent initiative aims to inspire the new generation to embrace modern music styles, encouraging performers and composers to collaborate closely. Together, they explore the delicate balance between tradition and innovation within the realm of Art Song.
